Trojan Blocks The Pirate Bay and Mininova

A new trojan popped up at several torrent sites a few weeks ago, one that blocks access to The Pirate Bay and Mininova, while informing its victims that “downloading is wrong.” The trojan edits the hosts file on Windows machines, and redirects the BitTorrent sites to localhost, making them impossible to load.

SB and Junction Servers go unactive and offline

Despite months of instability , slowness and being very unpopular due to lack of promotion and other factors such as weak network and instability etc , SB and Junction Servers are temporarily fully disabled and shutdown. Eventhough most of the services provided publicly by the server were highly unpopular , the SB servers have been constantly been used for experimentation and also for a group of small private use by some of my friends and other individuals. To them , this is a message. We are sorry for any inconveniences.

SB and Junction Servers has been of a help to quite a few people in the past days and months. However , we are compelled to shut it down since we face a lot of problems on many factors being played...

One of the major reasons for complete shutdown was the problem with our Network Modems and Routers. The next problem in stock for us would be the availability of a continuous and stable Internet Network Connection. And most probably , we can't guarentee that.

The next major problem was the financial part where we hardly earn revenue for continuing hosting our server. We had to pay for the Bandwidth , harddisk memory and cpu power was compromised and mainly , we had to pay the rising cost of electricity bills.

SB and Junction is still a small and experimental young company without any serious motto or goals although we pursue to achieve and improve  and learn and to help and provide other users with help and potentially useful services.

We might start our servers soon as most of the problems are fixed. We will let you know when the servers will spring back up.

Thanks
